How to access the Experiment summary page
To access the Experiment summary page at any time from within an experiment, click on the Actions menu and select View Summary.
Or click on the Experiment name and then select View.
Access the Experiment summary from the Experiment Manager by clicking on the experiment name and then select Experiment summary on the expanded detail view on the right panel.
Use the Experiment summary links located on the left side to jump to a specific list: saved illustrations, advanced analysis, attachments or list of FCS files.
Name, creation date, project membership, purpose and comments
On the very top there is basic information about the experiment, such as experiment name, creation date, project membership, purpose, and comments. Most of the information can be edited by clicking on the text or the Edit details tab on the top. Some of the basic facts cannot be edited such as the “cloned from” experiment, the uploader or creation date and updated date.
Linked experiments
Linked experiments show in a tree format, all linked experiments and all the advanced analyses. CITRUS analysis will not be shown on the linked experiments tree, but any exported CITRUS experiments will be displayed. Click on an advance analysis or linked experiment to open the analysis Experiment summary.
List of saved illustrations and advanced analyses
It will list all the saved illustrations and advanced analyses in your experiment. You can create a new illustration or advanced analysis by clicking the New button next to the section name. Click on the trash icon to delete one illustration or advanced analysis or click on the Delete all your illustrations button to delete all your illustrations at once. Please be careful, as deleted illustrations and analyses can’t be recovered.
If other users with access to the experiment create illustrations and those illustrations are locked, you have view-only access to the illustrations. You can’t delete illustrations created by other users one by one, but you can Delete all illustrations in the experiment.
Please be careful, as deleted illustrations and analyses can’t be recovered.
Uploaded and exported attachments
In the Attachments section, you will see a list of uploaded and exported attachments. You can attach any data using the Upload an attachment button. Please see this article for more ways of uploading any data types in the Cytobank platform. Click on the file icon located under the Download heading or near the attachment Filename to download an attachment. Click on the trash icon on the right to delete an attachment. Please be careful, as deleted attachments can’t be recovered.
Protocols
You can attach a protocol by either uploading a file, entering a URL or typing text into the protocols section.
List of the FCS files in the experiment and relevant metadata
The FCS files section lists all FCS files present in the experiment and some relevant information. Together with the File Name and Sample Name, Sample Tags and Panel names, event counts, and size of each file will be listed.
Click on the eye icon to view the details of the FCS file, where you will see the basic info of the FCS and the list of keywords. There is also an FCS File diagnostic section. Any warning with that FCS file will be shown there. You can find more information on the FCS file QC in this support article.
21 CFR Part 11 supporting tools
If your server has 21 CFR Part 11 supporting tools enabled, the Experiment summary will include Signatures, Signature roles and Audit trail sections. If you are interested in getting access to these tools, please contact us for more information.
The Signatures section shows the signature status and the retention period. If you have been assigned a Signature role, you can sign the experiment by clicking on the Sign as Analysis/Review/Approve role button.
The Signature roles section indicates which user has been assigned the Analysis, Review and Approve roles. Use Projects to assign and modify Signature roles.
The Audit trail section includes records of all actions done on the Experiment, Name and Username and Date/Time information. Use the search box to filter and search for specific events. Click on the Export button to download the complete Audit trail.
