Population Sunburst

The Population Sunburst is a different way to view the hierarchical relationships of gated data! See also: Population Tree

Sunburst Basics:

Parent-child relationships are represented by concentric wedges. The distance that a child wedge wraps around its parent connotes the relative percentage of parent events that fall into the child. Mouse over a wedge to view relevant population statistics.

Zoom the Sunburst:

One of the features that makes the Sunburst a great tool in the study of complex hierarchies is the ability to zoom in and out of different parts of the hierarchy. When changing levels, the Sunburst redraws to focus perspective only on the populations at hand. Use the breadcrumbs or click in the center of the sunburst to zoom back out.
