It is often necessary to reuse a file in an illustration and make it appear multiple times. One example of this need could be with a single sample that serves as a universal control for comparison to a large number of other samples. Cytobank doesn't support a functionality around reusing certain files in illustrations. Instead, the file should be duplicated within Cytobank as many times as necessary to accomplish the workflow.
Duplicating a file in Cytobank has the same effect as uploading the same file twice. In essence there will be a new physical copy of the file in the experiment. Files must be duplicated in Cytobank from any Sample Tagging page. These pages can be reached from within the "Sample Tags" dropdown menu on the experiment navigation bar.
